On Saturday night, I had a craving for pizza and wanted to go with the bf to Fornino. However, unbeknown to me, there was a *surprise* party in the works that we had to be to – so instead we ended up at Co. Since they opened earlier this year I have been curious to try their oven-fired pizza. They did not disappoint, although I would agree with prior reviews: tasty pizza, but not worth the price. We started with the escarole salad – very simple and bright. The croutons added a pleasant crunch and the lemon juice and olive oil vinaigrette perfectly dressed every bite.
For the main course, we opted to share the meatball pizza – the crust was thin and chewy and the veal meatballs were tender and savory. The meal was not large by any means, but left us satisfied.
