Last December I was in Madrid for an academic conference and I had a bit of extra time to explore the city and take in the sights and more importantly, the food! One of the first tapas restaurants that we went to was Casa Lucas, known for their innovative tapas and cozy atmosphere. My colleague and I ordered a plate of the vegetable terrine and chicken and corn mousse tapas, as well as a plate of foie gras to share. A very decadent and satisfying meal.
